The original GBOX by Geekvape went under the radar somewhat, and now that squonking is having a such a huge resurgence it was expected that Geekvape would release an update or another regulated squonker.

So, has it been worth the wait? Let’s take a more detailed look at whats included.

The Geekvape Gbox Squonk kit is a full-featured regulated Squonker that will output up to 200W using dual 18650 batteries and comes with an 8ml squonk bottle.

Geekvape Aegis TC Box Mod Review

GeekVape belongs to a class of manufacturers that are known for their atomizers. Personally, I do not remember any atom from these guys who would not be popular, and some of them even served as an example for other manufacturers when developing devices of the same format. But there is one chapter in the history of the company, which is not remembered by all, namely, the moment when the Chinese decided to conquer the boxing mod segment. The attempt was not successful, but the company did not want to give up. Already about a week in the network are walking renders new boxing fashion Geekvape Aegis Mod, which I now want to tell you.

The first thing you should learn about this device is the development of a guy named Justin. You do not know who it is !? GeekVape will be disappointed in you, it’s an employee of their team, and the person responsible for the design of boxing fashion Invader mini from Heatvape. Well, okay, I suggest to take it as a marketing move to give the device an individuality.

The manufacturer paid a lot of attention to the external characteristics of the device and it is not about design, although it is also quite interesting. The fact is that the boxing mode is positioned as a protected device, the owner of which can not worry about that it will scratch it, break it or drown it. I’ve seen similar decisions before, but, in my opinion, GeekVape took it seriously.

So, according to the manufacturer, the anti-shock protection meets the criteria of tests MIL-STD-810. As for protection from water and dust, the box is protected by the IP67 standard. Theoretically, the device should not be afraid of falling into the sand on the beach, shortly submerging in water, etc. On the video provided by the manufacturer, everything looks pretty impressive, but I would not abuse these boxing chips.

In technical terms, the manufacturer also tried very hard. As the brains of boxing, a chip of its own production was chosen, reacting to pressing the fire button for 0.015 seconds. In all other respects, the fee does not lag behind today’s market leaders. No, perhaps, special software for customization, but this fact does not really bother me. But the menu, icons and style of displaying information on the display here is interesting .

The maximum power of the board is set at 100W at a regulated voltage range up to 9V. The board operates in the following modes – VW / VPC / TC / TCR / BYPASS. The temperature limit is set in the range from 100-300’C / 200-600’F.

At one time, the Geekvape Aegis Box Mod became popular among manufacturers to make battery compartments for two types of 18650/26650 batteries, especially often it was possible to watch on boxes with DNA 75 board. GeekVape also decided to follow this path, and I can only praise them for it. As an adapter something like a band is used – and it’s beautiful and practical.
