AUGVAPE V200 Review: 100% My New Favorite Vape Mod

I’m just going to come right and say it: I’m a massive fan of this mod.

The AUGVAPE V200 had me impressed right from the beginning: the packaging, the color scheme (mine’s red). Even the name. Everything is very much on point.

It just looks and feels classy. Like a lot of care and attention has gone into every aspect of the device – from the idea behind its styling to how it’s packaged.

I like it when this happens. When you get a good feeling, right out the blocks.

Usually, anyway…

It does feel good when you look at something and it tells you a story before you’ve even unboxed it.

I know and like AUGVAPE quite a bit, so I was really hyped about the V200 before it arrived on my doorstep.

I knew it didn’t feature TC vaping before I got it. This isn’t an issue for me, as I never TC vape.

I’m a wattage mode boy through and through.

And I knew it was all about power, simplicity, and performance.

Three things I like very much.

Over the past three weeks, this mod has been everywhere with me. I’ve tested a bunch of RDAs on it too.

What follows is my honest review of the AUGVAPE V200. Enjoy!

AUGVAPE V200 Review – Is This Thing Legit?

AUGVAPE V200 Design

The AUGVAPE V200 design is based on a Honda engine block.

The B VTEC, apparently.

I know literally nothing about Honda engines. But I am told the one it is modelled on is fast.

The chassis itself is made to look like the actual engine block and it even features a little oil cap-style clicker for flicking through menus and upping and downing the power.

It even has exposed screws, which look awesome. I really dig the industrial design of this mod.

It’s unique and very eye-catching.

AUGVAPE V200

The display is secreted away in a black panel that runs down the front portion of the mod.

And the fire key? That’s built into the display, placed right at the top. It is 100% invisible. And if you’re like me, and never read instructions, it will definitely take you a few minutes to find it.

The battery door is at the bottom, and it slides open and seals easily enough. There is also a USB port for updating the firmware too.

The machining on this thing – especially at the top where your 510 connects – is sublime.

AUGVAPE V200

The 510’s Modeled On An Alloy Wheel. Very Cool Effect

I love how smoothly all my attys slip into this thing; the threads are deep and smooth. Perfect, basically.

I also really dig the honeycomb pattern (or alloy wheel-inspired design) AUGVAPE used on the 510 as well.

For me, the design of this mod is flawless. I love it. And I think it looks best in red, though you can get it in white and black too.

AUGVAPE V200 Specs & Features

AUGVAPE V200

The V200 is Really Compact As Well; I Love The Design of This Mod

As I mentioned, the AUGVAPE V200 is designed for performance. Nothing, save for TC mode, has been left on the table.

The chip inside it is ultra-powerful, delivering power like a Tesla car – everything is 100% available as soon as you hit the power key.

I like the entire philosophy behind this mod. I like that it’s simple, I like that there’s a theme behind it, and I adore the way it looks and vapes.

I got tons of comments from people when I was using it, and I definitely think the Red version is the better-looking of the two. Still, white is very fashionable these days.

And it’s always good to have a choice in this regard.

Here’s a quick rundown of the AUGVAPE V200’s key specs and features:

  • 87.5mm by 45mm by 29.2mm
  • 5 to 200W Output Range
  • 0.05 to 3.0 ohm Atomizer Resistance Range

AUGVAPE V200 Performance

As you can see above, the AUGVAPE V200 packs in three vaping modes. And all of which are power-mode only.

You have, 1) normal, 2) V Mode, and 3) Bypass Mode.

It’s NO WAY near as complicated (or expensive) as the YiHi SX MINI T-Class.

Normal mode is where I did most of my vaping with the AUGVAPE V200. Why? I didn’t really notice that much difference between normal and V Mode.

AUGVAPE says the V200 will ramp up faster in V Mode. But I could hardly tell the difference. It’s rapid in either mode.

Switch to Bypass Mode and, well… prepare to have your head blown off!

AUGVAPE V200

The AUGVAPE Templar RDA – (READ My Review)

Bypass Mode acts like a nitrous-switch on this thing, ramping up EVERYTHING.

To be honest, it was a bit too much for me. I like a more casual vape. But if you’re after BIG – and I really do mean, BIG – hits then you’re gonna love Bypass Mode.

There is no TC mode, however, so if that’s something you care about, well… you’re gonna have to give this one a miss. Because it ain’t present.

It doesn’t squonk, either.

And this, despite my love for squonk mods, added to my adoration of this device.

It’s OLD SCHOOL. All about power. And it doesn’t care if that bothers you.

This mod is just about vaping in power mode, looking good while doing it, and having TONS of power and chug under the hood.

And the AUGVAPE V200 excels in this respect in almost every regard.

AUGVAPE V200 Battery Life

Prior to testing a dual-18650 mod, you always think battery performance is kind of going to be similar across all styles of mods.

But this just isn’t the case. Some mods are A LOT better when it comes to battery efficiencies.

I love SMOANT but its mods are proper thirsty in the battery department.

AUGVAPE V200

The AUGVAPE V200 – A Proper ASS-KICKING Mod

The AUGVAPE V200 is the exact opposite, however – it just sips power.

I’ve been running a couple of 3-month old 18650 cells in the AUGVAPE V200 and its battery performance has been, in a word, exceptional.

It lasts around 20% longer than my SMOK Majesty and a good 35% longer than my SMOANT Cylon.

How AUGVAPE did this? I have no idea. But it’s likely down to the chip the AUGVAPE V200 uses.

Either way, it’s a bloody big positive, so hats off to AUGVAPE in this regard.

Joyetech Exceed D19 AIO Starter Kit Review

Joyetech Exceed D19 AIO Kit Review – A few years’ back, the Joyetech AIO made a splash for a wide range of vapers. Beginners loved the vast improvement over cig-a-likes, while enjoying a little more freedom over flavors than what closed/pod systems made available. In turn, veteran vapers enjoyed stepping back to something more portable and simplistic, while still enjoying a high-quality vape.

Consider the Joyetech Exceed D19 kit the natural evolution of this AIO idea. This diminutive pen-style system takes the original AIO concept further by introducing a sub-ohm coil, a touch more control over the power, and an overall more-advanced feel to the proceedings. Let’s take a closer look.

Initial impressions of the Joyetech Exceed D19 Kit

Like so many of the “big names” in the vape industry, Joyetech have established a look and feel to its packaging, and have stuck with it, year over year. As we’ve come to expect, the box is relatively low key, with a nice hero image and a clearly stated listing of contents. No frills, no nonsense, no confusion – something we all appreciate in an industry plagued with poor translation.

Overall, the Exceed D19 is much shorter (and a little squattier) than we first expected. Coming in at just 76mm alone, and 118mm with the tank installed, this minuscule device packs a deceptive amount of power. While the 1,500 mAh battery isn’t going to turn any heads, the 40-watt output maximum surely will. Yes, you can sub-ohm on the Exceed D19 – and Joyetech has included a coil to prove it.The contents of the kit are generous and well thought-out, with owners receiving the Exceed D19 mod, the matching tank, two EX coils, a USB cable, well-translated instructions, warranty card and a slew of spare parts – a much better offering than most pen-style mods provide.

The Exceed D19 kit comes with two EX coils – a 0.5-ohm direct lung head, and a 1.2-ohm mouth-to-lung head, opening the mod up to multiple audiences in search of a highly portable, slightly stealthy device. They are – of course – designed for use with the included Exceed D19 tank, which is a TPD-compliant 2mL, more than enough capacity for MTL users.

Operating the Joyetech Exceed D19 Kit

There’s not much to tell about the Exceed D19 kit. It’s a simplified, one-button mod with an LED battery indicator and little else to get in the way. Ease-of-use is the target, and for the most part, Joyetech has hit the mark.

This is why new users should be sure they’re using only coils designed for such use (a safe bet for newcomers would be to stick with the supplied EX varieties until they become more comfortable with direct-output needs). The mod itself is single-button affair, despite actually having two modes of operation. The default setup is for direct-output vaping, meaning the mod regulates wattage to the EX coils based solely on the amount of power left in the battery.

Another detail worth mentioning is that the EX coils are both made from Nichrome, rather than the usual Kanthal. This ensures the coils heat up quicker, cool off quicker, and offer up a faster, more stealthy vape.

To change modes to the constant voltage setting, the user must first turn off the Exceed D19 mod, then perform a series of long presses until the LED indicator light flashes its acknowledgement. In this mode, you can expect to go through battery more quickly, from the set voltage, especially if its setting itself to full 40-watt output.

In either mode, the Exceed D19 comes armed with a full slate of protection features, including overcharging, over-current, low battery and short circuit. In short, fledgling vapers can rest comfortably knowing their devices will perform without concern.

The included Exceed D19 tank is a simple, standard atomizer with some nice features, most notably the dual-purpose bottom airflow ring, which has open settings for the direct lung crowd, with more restrictive settings for the MTL enthusiasts. The top fill ports are surprisingly wide, and I experienced no problems with any of my droppers and bottles.

This is a good thing, though. Because with a 2mL capacity, direct lung vapers will find themselves filling the Exceed D19 tank quite often. If you’re an occasional vaper, this might work out for you, but heavy vapers should probably only look to the Exceed D19 as a backup or stealth vape option only.

Vaping the Joyetech Exceed D19 Kit

With a limited 1,500 mAh internal battery, the Exceed D19 isn’t designed for all-day use. That’s not to say it isn’t impressive for the size, but I recall in our 2014 review,  eGo batteries pushing 2,200 mAh years ago, so this capacity seems a little low, even for a stealth setup.

In the standard direct output mode, battery life is pretty poor. After just under an hour of steady vaping, I felt the battery power drop precipitously, and before long I noticed the LED flashing a low-battery warning. Admittedly, my testing was much more intense than the Exceed D19’s intended usage, but this was nonetheless alarming in 2017.

In constant voltage, power performance was even worse, as the steady flow of power chewed into the remaining battery life at a breakneck pace. However, while it lasted, the constant voltage setting offered more satisfying vape quality, in both MTL and direct lung usage.

That said, watch out for those direct lung hits, as they’ll swallow battery at an exponential rate. Using the 0.5-ohm coil with constant voltage afforded me less than a half hour of steady vape quality, and just under an hour of total use time.

In the short time I had full-power direct lung hits, they were excellent, with the EX coils performing well above expectations. Both flavor and vapor production were robust, with even the most nuanced liquids coming through the tiny device.

Based on longevity and power alone, I have a hard time recommending the Exceed D19 for anyone looking to use it as a direct lung device. However, as a backup MTL mod, the Exceed D19 makes much more sense. Using the 1.2-ohm EX coil, the Exceed D19 felt much more at home.

Using more restrictive airflow settings, the flavor of higher-nic, PG-heavy juices shined bright. Even though this isn’t my usual style of vaping, I found myself rediscovering the simple pleasure of a smoking-like experience.

Battery life with the MTL coil was noticeably better. The Exceed D19 is not a chain-vaping setup, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the kit for MTL vapers looking for occasional draws. Under that scenario, I can see the Exceed far surpassing most devices in this category – the flavor is that good.

The USB charging is fast and reliable, but there is no passthrough mode, so plan accordingly.

Wrapping up

For a simplified device aimed at people seeking a no-frills experience, the Exceed D19 kit offers an impressive package. In fact, if the battery life matched Joyetech’s ambition, this could be the best entry-level kit on the market.

Still, while it lasts, the Joyetech Exceed D19 offers a surprisingly rich, flavorful vape, no matter which style suits you best. Considering the price point and high performance, there’s a lot more to like here than anyone could have expected.

Eco RDA by Cigpet – two blowing and a lot of space for spirals, and then figure it out yourself

As I understand it, IJOY has a subsidiary, Cigpet . Maybe I am mistaken, but the fact that IJOY has a separate section with the products of this manufacturer, and that their devices have similar features, tells me that I am not mistaken. At our site you can find an overview on the boxing events Ant . And now, after a rather long break, the Chinese decided to expand their product range. A couple of days ago, information about two atomizers at once — the ECO12 tank and Eco drip — appeared on the network . I propose to start with the last

Eco RDA by Cigpet -

I like the look: the rip looks compact and powerful at the same time. The novelty is available in several colors at once, among which there is gold, in case there are Gypsy barons among the buyers (joke). By the way, it seems that the fashion for using Resin returns to vaping. Here and Cigpet offer for their dripki different versions of dripok. In terms of dimensions, the Cigpet has got the familiar for the modern vaper dripka. A diameter of 24 mm will allow you to comfortably use the atomizer on large boxes. Rise above the mod atomizer will be 40.9 mm.

Specifications :

At first, I thought that the manufacturer decided to do nothing with the base and offer the user the usual Velocity stands. Then I took a closer look, and realized that there were certain changes. Each rack has a wide top slot for two holes and one hole in the bottom row. This will allow the wearer to experiment with winding and stand out from the crowd. Fans of winding interesting spirals will be delighted with such a feature, but something tells me that most of the users will leave it unattended. Dimensions dripka allow you to pour into it a sufficiently large amount of liquid. According to the manufacturer, 2 ml of liquid should fit there without problems.

Eco RDA by Cigpet -

A feature that immediately catches the eye is the presence of two blowing systems. The main part of the work is performed by the lower airflow with huge slots for air intake and not less powerful slots in the base, which direct the air directly to the spiral. In addition, there are also side slots of a decent size. I do not know how all this will affect the taste transfer, but there will definitely be more than enough air for the spirals.

A very small percentage of modern devices can boast that it is very different from the competitors. Ecorefers precisely to the class of the elect. Atomizer will attract the attention of those for whom TTX is of particular importance. But this does not mean that the design will disappoint the owner. In my opinion, a drip has an excellent combination of quality, especially given the scarcity of modern choice in the drip segment.
